We’re excited to announce that singer-songwriter and guitarist Richard Thompson will be joining us; as well as Clearwater friends Jay Ungar & Molly Mason. Playing a set of Contra Dance, Swing music and Zydeco, the great Nathan & The Zydeco Cha Chas has also joined our line-up this year! We’ll be announcing more artists soon!
These artists will be joining a diverse line-up of performers including:
Lake Street Dive, Arlo Guthrie, Los Lobos, Josh Ritter, Tommy Emmanuel, Toshi Reagon and BIGLovely, Joan Osborne, Alejandro Escovedo, The Barr Brothers, Joe Purdy, Tom Paxton & The DuanJuans, Holly Near, Larry Campbell & Teresa Williams, Tom Chapin, Guy Davis, David Amram, Josh White Jr., The Kennedys, Martha Redbone Roots Project, Kim & Reggie Harris, Jerron “Blind Boy” Paxton, The Suitcase Junket, Leyla McCalla, and many more.
For those who love dancing, we’re have an eclectic mix of dance bands including: Cajun group Jesse Lege & The Bayou Brew, Salsa band
Jimmy Bosch Y Su Sexteto del Otro Mundo; Afro-Venezuelan singer
Betsayda Machado; the great Puerto Rican plena and bomba group
Plena Libre; and indie Mambo band Orkesta Mendoza.
While at the Festival, make sure to explore the Handcrafter’s Village and
Marketplace, The Artisanal Food & Farm Market and the Green Living Expo. Take a walk down to the Working Waterfront and take a ride on the sloop Clearwater or schooner Mystic Whaler.
